ANTM All-Stars changed my life but….

Hey guys!

I thought I’d write a fun little blog about the future and what it’s like being the ANTM All-Stars winner. My message box is full of curious cats wanting to know some SERIOUS deets. lol If I haven’t answered some of you, I apologize. All of your questions will hopefully be answered in this. ✰⚈‿‿⚈✰

  ANTM All-Stars changed my life but even if your the winner or not, you still have to work your butt off. In no means does “winning” mean that we all didn’t WIN from being apart of the show. The way I look at it, we were all the winners. The journey [aka competition] IN LIFE is never over. I am so happy for Dominique for taking Tyra’s advice and developing her singing & creating music videos & with nice budgets!! Go get Urs, Dom! I’m jelly!! Awesome. :] I couldn’t be happier for Laura! Laura is such an amazingly talented women with a heart & soul made of gold. On top of modeling & commercial work, she has created her own Tshirt line at http://www.grumbagebylaura.com/ They are so cute & I want one! Brittany, is hosting a TV dish talk show http://www.afterbuzztv.com/on a regular basis now. Bre is on a Steven Tyler TV sitcom!! Alexandria is runway walking all over LA. Bianca, is doing tonnnsss of modeling. Angelea, is a host on an MTV show!!! :] Allison is becoming the muse to so many photographers and designers & runway walking in NYFW!! :] Shannon is modeling in Chicago. I believe Kayla is modeling in Japan or China!! Sheena is working on some sort of inspirational TV show. Isis just got back from the Philippines shooting a very dramatic role in a film….I mean it is truly beautiful to see such an eclectic mix of talent and beauty getting recognized because I fell in love with each one of these girls for different reasons. 

As far as what I’m doing now, well, the biggest project I and my team have been working on for OVER 3 YEARS will hopefully get unveiled in 2012! That’ll be the #whoa lol I filmed for a couple of TV shows that will be airing in March [it’s a secret] . I’ve put out 3 music videos: “Soldier”, “Faded Fluorescent”, and “Whiplash” all of which are off my 2nd studio album since the All-Stars. I’m in the studio always, so a NEW sound of music is coming soon too! I landed the Cover of Brink Magazine & fashion spread inside w/ interview.

Just a couple days ago I did my 1st Extra Correspondent job! That was fun. I got to interview all the actors from Band from TV: James Denton [Desperate Housewives], Scott Grimes [ER, Dexter], Greg Grunberg [Heros, Lost] etc.. which was pretty cool! From what I’ve been told, I get to do 3 correspondent jobs. If they love me, they can hire me on to do more. [As soon as I get air dates, I will post them] My manager told me that the EXTRA execs loved me and said I was a natural, which is pretty cool to hear. I definitely did my research on these talented actors and their back ground, which was refreshing to the execs. :] I shoot the Vogue Italia spread in a couple weeks and couldn’t be more excited about that….and, my COVERGIRL ad is on the first page in People magazine right now!!! I don’t think I shoot the Express campaign for a little while. The fragrance Dream Come True is going to be sold in Targets and other boutique shops and it smells AMAZINGG! I personally signed about 300 bottles for those special prize winners that logged on to http://shopdreamcometrue.com! From the tweets I’ve been getting today, people have been receiving them & love it!!! Hatch Beauty [creators of the fragrance] & I will be doing a small metro city promotional tour to do in-store personalized Meet&Greets so I can meet a lot of you!! I’m so excited for that. WHen I get those dates, I will post those as well. Also, I got my own iphone app called Earth To Lisa! If anyone wants a front seat to my crazy life, you can watch all the EXCLUSIVE content that I update regularly! That Shit is funny, I tell ya!! :] 

On Valentines Day, I got an offer to start the party & perform at Conneticut’s MGM Grand Hotel & Casino with DJ Jane Bang in the Shrine. If anyone lives near there, come hang with me!! :] Also, I was lucky enough to be asked to perform at the EXCLUSIVE Playboy Mansion Grammy Party in February!!! I’m so excited. In March, I get to go to Aruba with DJ Ivy for a Hotel Opening. I mean I’ve got a bunch of really cool fun-packed-dream-come-true plans to look forward to in 2012. In no means, do I feel that just because I won I don’t have to work hard anymore. I think I gotta work harder, actually, because everyones expectations are much higher. When you win I feel like people [in my case] are waiting for me to fail BEFORE they are cheering me on but that’s ok! We all have a ying and yang inside of us. :]

Winning isn’t prizes to me, it’s getting the opportunity to make more opportunities. I have a firm grip on the steering wheel being the suicide doors to the american dream. Now I’m just breaking my neck from watching my back, ya feel me? lol =P 

I feel so humbled and blessed but in no means have I “made it”. I want to help my dad and my sister financially on a bigger level because they are sweatin’ it right now and yet I still can’t even do that. I pray that by 2013 I will be in a place where I can pay off my dads mortgage or my sisters car payment or something. At the end, the big picture is much bigger than me or my world. I carry the weight of the world on my shoulders and I want everyone to feel inspired to make their dreams come true & I don’t want to disappoint anyone.  Till next time!
